Commitments

At Parallel Lumber Group you can count on the fact that we are committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations.

In Pursuit of Sustainability and Carbon Emissions Reduction

“Maximizing utilization of wood fiber is simply the right thing to do”……..Patrick Glazier, Owner

The Parallel Lumber Group is committed to responsible and higher use of wood fiber every step of the way. It is our contribution to carbon emissions reduction. Social, economic, and environmental sustainability are dependent on it. This strategic approach provides long term employment, job creation, and positive impacts within communities.

In pursuit of sustainability and carbon emissions reduction, we are committed to sound forest management practices, and high levels of utilization. We develop and utilize innovative technology, and invest in our people and the communities we operate.

Increased utilization of wood fiber includes chipping poor quality undersize logs that cannot be used for lumber, which would otherwise be left as debris at roadside and burned. We also utilize trim ends from sawmills to produce value-added finger joint studs, and residuals from our operations are supplied to energy, pulp, and pellet producers.

Superior Performance and Quality of Products

In fulfilling our commitment to maximize utilization of fiber, we have manufactured value-added finger joint studs for over 25 years. Our reputation for manufacturing superior performance and consistent quality framing products is well known throughout the framing industry. We produce Western SPF and Southern Yellow Pine Finger Joint Studs.

Our Southern Yellow Pine sawmill manufactures quality dimensional lumber for framing, truss manufacturing, treating, and decking. Our customers have grown to rely on our consistent quality products.
